Getting your information in front of them on a regular basis increases the odds they’ll turn to you when they have a need.  It increases front of mind awareness.  However, in order to profit from your opt-in list, it’s important to grow your subscribers.  Here are just a few ways to get more newsletter subscribers:</p>
<p><strong>#1  Post back issues on your website.</strong>  This will help both with your search engine optimization and you’ll give potential subscribers a taste of what you have to offer. Don’t worry too much about people not signing up because they have access to back issues.   Most people want and appreciate the convenience of having content delivered to them instead of them having to go and look for it.  Additionally, the timeliness of receiving content immediately rather than reading it three months after the fact holds tremendous value.<span id="more-933"></span>  </p>
<p><strong>#2  Offer something really cool in exchange for subscribing.</strong>  Free reports, online courses, audio and video products are all valued and will motivate prospects to subscribe.  And if you’ve been offering something all along, freshen it up.  Offer a new and improved product!</p>
<p><strong>#3  Promote your newsletter in your email signature, forum and social networking signatures and profile pages and any other business communications.</strong>  People are curious and will likely click through to check out your website and newsletter.  Once there, your offer will be so compelling they won’t be able to resist signing up!</p>
<p><strong>#4  Cross promote with other relevant businesses.</strong>  For example if your niche is pet training, cross promoting your newsletter with a website with a pet food niche is perfect.  They get the benefit of your website subscribers and vice versa.  </p>
<p><strong>#5  Offer coupons and promotions exclusively for newsletter subscribers. </strong> Everyone, particularly in the present economy, is looking for ways to save money.  Couple that with the fact that people like to belong to exclusive groups.  When you offer potential subscribers the opportunity to save money and receive exclusive coupons and promotions, it’ll motivate them to sign up.</p>
<p><strong>#6  Test the location of your sign up form.</strong>  Generally, sign up forms are located on the right hand side of a website, and always above the fold.  However, it’s always important to test. A/B Split testing is the simplest way to test form location.  Create two identical landing pages with your newsletter sign up form in two different locations.  Test for a week, a month, or six months – test until you have enough data to draw a reasonable conclusion.  Consider also testing your call to action.</p>
<p>Your newsletter can be a great business building asset.  Make sure people know about it and boost your newsletter subscription rate by using one or more of these suggestions.  </p>

<p>You can use this concept of viral marketing via YouTube to market your business. Viral marketing is one of the best ways to get your business from 0 to 60 in seconds flat. It’s amazing how an idea can spread and if you can create a buzz with viral marketing, you’ll watch your traffic &#8211; and profits &#8211; soar. And YouTube is one of the best ways to launch a viral campaign.<span id="more-895"></span></p>
<p><strong>In order for a viral campaign to be successful it has to have two ingredients:</strong></p>

<p>Once your viral video goes live on YouTube and you’ve embedded your video on your website or webpage, you can submit the page to Digg. Be sure to include a “Digg this” button on your webpage too. </p>
<p>On Digg, make sure to network and connect with others. And consider using their “Digg Traffic” buttons that show how many times a page has been submitted. Interestingly enough, the more times something has been submitted to Digg, the more people are inclined to submit it themselves. </p>
<p><strong>But how do you make sure your video goes viral?</strong></p>

<p>When attending an internet marketing seminar, the best piece of advice is to be prepared. In order to take away the most information out of a seminar, it is important to actively participate as well as contribute. </p>

<p><strong>* Take notes! </strong>Unless you have a photographic memory, chances are you will not remember a lot of the information that was discussed during the seminar. The solution to this is to take notes, and lots of them. What may not seem important during the seminar may turn out to be a vital piece of information or advice that will lead your marketing in the right direction. </p>
<p><strong>* Ask questions.</strong> Many seminars reserve a slot of time for questions and answers. Make the most of this time by asking questions about either information you did not understand or even broaching a new subject that was not discussed during the seminar. Do not worry about appearing unintelligent &#8211; after all, the only stupid question is the one not asked.</p>
<p><strong>* Discuss the information with your peers at the seminar.</strong> Most internet seminars have a chat room where users can interface with each other. By chatting with your peers, you may come upon even more information or advice. Different people also have different insights into marketing; some of your peers may share their insights which may benefit you as well. Most of your peers may also be willing to spread the word about your business on your behalf, especially if they like the person they are talking to!</p>

<p>CPA stands for cost per action. When you join a CPA network, you earn money for getting prospects to take a specific desired action. <p><strong>Step #1 Make Sure You Have A Very Specific Market Niche.</strong></p>
<p>Membership sites generally become profitable because they cater to a specific group of people. These people have unique interests and needs. For example, a membership site dedicated to romance authors would be different than a membership site for romance readers. A highly targeted market that wants the information that your membership site will provide is the first step to making money.</p>
<p>Niche markets are important not only for getting to the top of the search engine results but also for effectively communicating with your target market. It makes it easier to provide them with specialized information. It makes it easier to attract potential subscribers. It’s easier to become an authority in your industry. And ultimately a niche makes it easier to make money.<span id="more-898"></span></p>
<p><strong>#2 Determine Your Membership Levels.</strong> </p>
<p>Some membership sites are free. However, others offer various subscription levels. Each level offers more services or information and at the same time charges the subscriber a higher subscription rate. </p>
<p>You could, for example, use the three tiered membership system. For example, you can structure your membership site to offer free memberships, silver level memberships and gold or platinum memberships. Each upgrade also provides the subscriber more access to the website and more information, resources, products or services. This method helps you appeal to all income levels and all levels of commitment. </p>
<p>When you offer different levels of membership, you can market to each segment differently. You can create high end products geared specifically for the customers that you know can afford it and appreciate it. And you can offer incentives to upgrade.</p>
<p>Sometimes a free membership site can be the most profitable. You can market products and services to your members and sell ad space for profits.</p>
<p><strong>#3 Create Multiple Streams of Income</strong></p>
<p>Once you have a membership site up and running you have the opportunity to generate multiple streams of income. The opportunities are vast. You can sell affiliate product on your membership site. You can make money from PPC advertising programs like AdSense. </p>
<p>If you have a large membership base you may be able to make great profits from advertising sales. And you can of course profit by selling information. Information in the form of books, reports, audio recordings, video recordings, tutorials, resell rights to information products, workshops, seminars, the list goes on and on.<br />
Membership sites also position themselves quite well for affiliate revenue. Meaning you can pay people a commission when they send you a new subscriber.</p>
<p>The membership site business model is a potentially lucrative one. Determine who your audience is. Determine what they want and need. And then find a way to give it to them via your membership site. Remember to consider their needs when determining membership levels and price. </p>

<p><strong>#1 It’s about more than your products.</strong> In fact, if your visitors are turned off by your website or cannot quickly and easily find what they’re looking for on your online store, they’re going to click away and will never get close to becoming a customer. So the first and perhaps most important consideration for online success is to make sure your website is user friendly. </p>
<p>This means it’s easy to navigate and visually appealing. Know that visually appealing doesn’t necessarily mean fancy. In fact some of the most successful online stores appear quite simple. <p>- Your customers can easily search for the items they want<br />
- Items aren’t more than two clicks away<br />
- Placing items in a shopping cart is simple and intuitive<br />
- The page isn’t visually cluttered</p>
<p><strong>#2 Make sure the purchasing process is seamless.</strong> Abandoned shopping carts are the bane of an online store owner’s existence. One of the reasons people abandon their shopping cart is because they weren’t able to find information they needed before they clicked “submit”. For example, the shipping fees and taxes aren’t readily available. </p>
<p>Another reason people abandon shopping carts is because they don’t feel their information is safe. Take every precaution to keep your customer’s information safe. Use VeriSign and other encoding tools and confidently publish your customer’s safety on your website. </p>
<p>Make sure the shopping cart is easy to find, easy to use and the checkout process is safe. </p>

<p>You probably also know that your ezine boosts your search engine ranking and increases awareness. And if you have a large mailing list and sell advertising space, then it has a direct effect on your profits. </p>
<p>The key to a successful ezine, the single best way to achieve all of these amazing benefits, is to provide valuable content to your readers. And if you’re a business owner you may be perfectly happy to write all of the content for your newsletter. Consider, however, the benefit of finding an expert to write for your ezine. </p>
<p>An expert can actually boost your credibility. Imagine if you had Martha Stewart contribute an article to your crafting ezine. Whoa! People would really think you knew your stuff. It would give you a tremendous boost in readership and credibility.<span id="more-757"></span></p>

<p>2. <strong>Read magazines and industry publications.</strong> Industry magazines and publications are the next place to look. Look for contributors rather than staff writers. Contributors are often freelance writers and they’ll be more interested in working for you, particularly if you’re paying and/or offering them an opportunity to boost their portfolio.</p>
<p>3. <strong>Network.</strong> One of the best ways to meet experts in your industry and to get good writers for your ezine is to network. Maybe you can arrange some sort of partnership with a few credible experts and also glean some opportunities to write for them to increase awareness. </p>
<p>4. <strong>Visit freelance job sites.</strong> Freelance job sites can be a good place to find good writers and if you can find one that specializes in a niche topic &#8211; your niche topic &#8211; then you may have struck gold. </p>
<p>5. <strong>Advertise.</strong> Finally, if you’re unable to find an expert to write for your ezine, consider advertising for one and/or asking your peers and associates if they know anyone. You may meet the perfect contributor.</p>
<p>Finding an expert to write for your ezine is a great idea. It gives you more time to work on other projects, potentially saves you money if you normally outsource your content, and it can increase your credibility in your niche. </p>
